It is finally OFFICIAL – Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou is confirmed for Friday March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua (27-3) will lock horns with the former UFC heavyweight king Ngannou, who aced his first test as a pro boxer when coming close to handing Tyson Fury a first ever defeat back in October.
Joshua will look to remain in pole position for a shot at the winner of those Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk unification battles by dispatching Ngannou. Francis meanwhile will bid to show that terrific performance vs Fury on debut was no fluke.

The Joshua vs Ngannou card got even better earlier on Monday afternoon with confirmation that the co-main event will be another blockbuster – Joseph Parker vs Zhilei Zhang.
Parker (34-3) is coming off a career-best win over Deontay Wilder last month, while Zhang’s (26-1-1) star has never been higher following back-to-back victories over Joe Joyce.
