World heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have both been included as playable characters in EA Sports’ UFC 4 game.
The pair have agreed in principle the financial structure for a two-fight deal in the boxing ring starting next year. But now fight fans will be able to imagine how they might fare in the Octagon.
Both Fury (30-0-1) and Joshua (23-1) are clearly delighted to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Mike Tyson and Bruce Lee in being included in the game.
Joshua said: “Fighting is what I have dedicated myself to. No matter the stage or opponent, I’ll always back myself. My character in UFC 4 will be no different. I’m looking forward to picking up the controller and dominating UFC 4.”
Fury meanwhile revealed: “I have a lot of respect for the UFC fighters but I’m the greatest fighter in the world. It’s going to be exciting to watch players use my boxing skills to outshine the most talented MMA fighters in UFC 4.”
UFC4 will be official launched on PlayStation and Xbox One on August 14 and fans can access Fury and Joshua by pre-ordering.
