Fury vs Usyk: WATCH LIVE press conference to announce boxing MEGAFIGHT

Finally, the wait is over and the press conference to officially announce boxing’s Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk heavyweight megafight will happen later today (Thursday November 16) in London, England and you can watch every second LIVE right here.

The pair will face off in the capital at 6pm local time (1pm Eastern Standard Time, 10am PST) to announce their battle for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the boxing world.

The bout is set to take place on Saturday February 17, 2024 in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, the latest in a string of high-profile fights to land in the Middle East.

Fury (34-0-1) of course remained unbeaten last month by outpointing former UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou – also in Saudi – while Usyk (21-0) was last seen out stopping Daniel Dubois in Poland in August.

The Fury vs Usyk meeting is a long time in the making and it should crown boxing’s first undisputed world heavyweight champion since Britain’s Lennox Lewis way back in 1999. Lewis outpointed Evander Holyfield in their Las Vegas rematch to clai all of the belts.

The heavyweight division has never been hotter right now, with most of the sport’s big guns set to head for Saudi in the next three months.

Heavyweight boxing red-hot right now

Earlier this week we had the blockbuster announcement for an incredible ‘Day Of Reckoning’ card to take place in Riyadh on Saturday December 23.

That card is headlined by Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker – the prelude to a potential Joshua vs Wilder showdown should they both prevail.

That December 23 card also gives us the aforementioned Dubois vs Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic vs Mark De Mori, Frank Sanchez vs Junior Fa and vs Agit Kabayel. Absolutely incredible stuff.

Of course though all roads now lead to February 17, and that monumental Fury vs Usyk showdown. At last, the sport delivering what fans most of all. The very best fighting the very best.
