Fury taunts Wilder with ‘You Big Dosser’ face mask

Tyson Fury has taunted great rival Deontay Wilder yet again as the promotion ramps up ahead of their eagerly-awaited trilogy fight – this time with a personalised face mask.

‘The Gypsy King’ appeared on Twitter wearing a mask emblazoned with the jibe ‘You Big Dosser’, the term Fury often uses to poke his rivals through the media.

Fury then joked that the personalised masks were available from Wilder’s official website in a short video message.

The Tweet from ‘The Gypsy King’ came just hours after fresh claims that Wilder had indeed injured his bicep before the rematch with Fury in February.

‘The Bronze Bomber’s’ sparring partner – unbeaten New Zealand prospect Junior Fa (19-0), told Sky Sports that Wilder had suffered a bicep injury during camp.

Fury and Wilder of course have met twice before – a controversial draw in Los Angeles in December 2018 followed by Fury’s dominant victory in the rematch in Las Vegas.

Their third fight has already been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and even the current planned date of Saturday December 19 appears to be in doubt now with Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum admitting that it may have to be pushed back further to February 2021.

Fury is a strong favourite at 2/7 with most UK bookmakers with Wilder an 11/4 underdog. The US sportsbooks meanwhile have Fury as short as -350 with Wilder as big as +275.
