Carl Froch makes SHOCKING Jutta Leerdam claim as he stirs the beef with Jake Paul

Carl Froch vs Jake Paul is a fight we’d all be here for – two larger-than-life characters settling their boxing beef in front of a huge audience. What is not to like.

‘The Cobra’ has been very very vocal about Paul’s ‘boxing career’ and he pulled no punches again following that much-hyped showdown vs Mike Tyson in Arlington, Texas last Friday night.

The much-hyped eight-rounder drew an incredible audience of 65million concurrent streams on Netflix – the most viewed fight in boxing history. It also smashed the record currently held by Canelo Alvarez for the biggest live gate in Texas history.

But Froch was hugely unimpressed by what Paul did in winning a massively disappointing unanimous decision against the 58-year-old former legend.

Froch vs Jake Paul, the beef

The former world super-middleweight champion and now Boxing Hall of Famer described the end product as “a load of rubbish”, and claimed he would beat Jake with one hand tied behind his back – inside 30 seconds.

That got Paul’s attention and ‘The Problem Child’ was quick hit back on social media, telling Carl: “F***ing sour loser. Shut the f*** up. I’ve done more in 4 years than you have in your life. First and last time I respond to your broke salty ass. Let me know if you want to wash my cars.”

Froch brings Jutta Leerdam into it

It was at this point that Froch really took things (down) to new levels, when he brought Jake’s girlfriend – Dutch superstar speed skater Jutta Leerdam – into the conversation.

He snapped back: “Listen up Jakey boy….@jakepaul I’m 11 years retired, not done a round of boxing for over a decade, I’m old, grey and out of shape. But, I’d still give your missus the best night of her life! I bet she dreams about a real man.”

Froch of course is 47 years of age now, but more than a decade younger than the almost pensionable Mike Tyson. Friday night was a sad sight for those of us who remember ‘Iron Mike’ being the baddest man on the planet in his destructive heyday.

There are plenty of people jostling for position in the queue to fight Jake next – he is a huge draw and has a questionable pro boxing resume, so what is not to like with a huge payday at the end of the rainbow. Will it be Froch? Who knows, but it’s a beef we would like to see settled, inside a ring.
