Joe Joyce vs Kash Ali is set for this weekend in Birmingham as the one-time world heavyweight title hopeful looks to start rebuilding his career at the top level.
Joyce (15-2) was in prime position for a shot at the WBO world title currently held by Oleksandr Usyk last year, until everything went south in the shape of two meetings with massive Chinese star Zhilei ‘Big Bang’ Zhang.
Joyce had a perfect 15-0 record, had just obliterated the excellent Joseph Parker and was seen as the heavyweight who could not be stopped. But then he met Zhang – and two defeats later he is starting the journey back to the top of the mountain. That is there Ali (21-2) comes in.
Here is everything you need to know for Saturday’s huge showdown in the Midlands.

Joyce vs Kash Ali will be screened and streamed live in the UK by TNT Sports as part of a normal subscription (no PPV here).
