Fury vs. Joshua News

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are massive news and make headlines every single day of the year, particularly in the UK. They had been all set to meet in the biggest fight in British boxing history on August 14, 2021. The pair had signed a two-fight deal and Saudi Arabia had agreed to put up a record $155million (£109million) site fee. And then the world caved in... Deontay Wilder won an arbitration ruling to force Fury into a trilogy fight, and AJ lost his titles to Oleksandr Usyk. And the wait continued. Then in September 2022 we appeared to be again on the brink of that long-awaited British superfight. But again they could not get the deal over the line. Now they are once again very close to finally meeting in a ring. If both win their next fights - that long-awaited meeting will likely happen in early 2025.

Fury and Joshua next fights

Fury (34-1-1) will rematch Usyk in Riyadh on December 21 with the WBC, WBA, WBO, Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight titles on the line. 'The Gypsy King' of course dropped his first professional L to the Ukrainian genius in their epic first meeting in May.

Before that though, Joshua challenges Daniel Dubois on Saturday night (September 21) at London's Wembley Stadium for the IBF heavyweight title.

Like we said, if both come out victorious, there are few things less certain than Fury vs Joshua in 2025 for the undisputed heavyweight title.

Fury vs Joshua TV details

The battle to show a Fury vs Joshua fight on TV and live stream would be a fascinating one.

Joshua has a global deal with streaming platform DAZN which includes the UK, while Fury fights air on TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) in the UK. It is likely we would get a joint PPV.

ESPN has an exclusive deal with Fury in the U.S. and would likely have the rights Stateside along with DAZN.

AJ's long-running association with Sky Sports in the UK of course is over, after he signed that huge DAZN deal.

Thanks to Turki Alalshikh's vision to distribute rights as widely as possible though, there is every chance a Fury vs Joshua fight would air on DAZN, Sky Sports AND TNT in the UK.

Fury vs Joshua odds

The odds have swung again after Joshua's brilliant performances vs Wallin and Ngannou, and Fury's life and death struggle with the latter last October followed by that loss to Usyk.

A few short months ago Fury was a 1/4 favourite with AJ a big underdog at 3/1, but not any more.

Now the difference between the two is wafer-thin and in pick em territory. Fury is still favourite but only just, at 8/11. Joshua is 11/10 with the Draw at 16/1 shot.
