Amazon Prime took a massive step into boxing in December 2023 when it announced a landmark partnership with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).
The huge multi-year deal has massive ramifications for the sport of boxing, with fans waiting to find out where PBC shows would land following Showtime’s decision to end its 37-year association with the sport.

The answer came on December 7, 2023 when Amazon Prime Video and PBC announced its new multi-year pact, meaning a ton of huge shows have been landing on the streaming platform since early 2024.
Amazon Prime Video Boxing Schedule
The next show on Prime Video is this Saturday night (May 31) in Las Vegas, Nevada – the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to be exact:

So this is key information – as far as we know, Amazon Prime Video will only be distributing PPV shows in the United States. We will check with PBC for distribution in other markets for big shows.
There is some good news for Amazon subscribers in the UK though – in the US and select countries (including the UK), Prime Video will exclusively stream a PBC Championship Boxing series of events, showcasing top matchups among boxing’s current and rising stars. That will also start on Prime Video for Prime members, later this year.

PBC has a pretty nice stable with more than 150 active fighters across various weight divisions. Since its debut in 2015, PBC presented the biggest mega-events in the sport of boxing, including 2023 blockbusters David Benavidez vs. Caleb Plant, Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Ryan Garcia, Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford, and Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo. It has also been the main landing spot in the past for fights involving heavyweight knockout artist Deontay Wilder.
How much will boxing cost on Amazon Prime Video?
Pricing for the PPV shows have traditionally been at around the $90 mark in the US.
PBC PPV fights will be available for all viewers to purchase, regardless of Prime membership. Additionally, in the U.S. and select countries, Prime Video will exclusively stream a PBC Championship Boxing series of events, showcasing top matchups among boxing’s current and rising stars.

In addition to the live PBC events, Prime Video will continue to grow its Original sports content offerings, with behind-the-scenes PBC docuseries, live weigh-ins, as well as on-demand access to previous events, highlights, archival footage, and more.
