Boxing press conferences are normally pretty dull affairs, but we have a feeling that the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois edition later today (Thursday September 19) might produce a few fireworks.
When this fight was made a couple of months ago we didn’t really have great expectations of an exciting build-up, but things ARE starting to heat up a little.
First we had AJ getting all heated about ‘disrespect’ after Daniel called it on during a joint media interview, and then a couple of days ago Dubois raised the stakes significantly by saying he believes he can make AJ QUIT. Yes, you read that right.

On Saturday night a record boxing crowd of more than 96,000 will rock up at Wembley Stadium as the two British fighters lock horns with the IBF world heavyweight title on the line (live on DAZN PPV, Sky Sports Box Office and TNT Sports Box Office).
Can Dubois back up the smack talk and prove he’s for real with an upset win? Or will AJ become a three-time world heavyweight champion, joining the likes of Muhammad Ali, Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield in very elite company?
We do not have long to find out, and the pair will meet for the final time before Friday’s weigh-in when the final press conference takes place today at Wembley. And you can watch every second of it live without leaving Furyjoshua.com.
