Sports TV presenter Kate Abdo has a new husband after marrying top boxing trainer Malik Scott.
The former Sky Sports and now CBS host – famous right now for fronting the US network’s UEFA Champions League coverage (along with Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher among others) wed Scott in a beautiful ceremony in which she wore a white dress and Malik donned a black suit with the pair surrounded by white candles.

Kate, now aged 43, has been doing boxing training with Malik since 2023 and romance blossomed with the pair eventually becoming engaged. Now that has moved on to marriage with a stunning ceremony.
Scott, also 43, is of course most famous these days for being the trainer of former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. A long-time friend of ‘The Bronze Bomber’, he started to head up Wilder’s corner for his trilogy fight vs Tyson Fury in late 2021, when Kate was hosting media events before the bout for broadcaster Fox Sports.
Before becoming a trainer, Scott was a professional boxer himself, with a 38-3-1 record as a heavyweight. His only defeats came against top-level opposition – Britain’s Dereck Chisora, that man Wilder and Cuban Luis Ortiz.

Writing in a heartfelt Instagram post which accompanied wedding pictures, Kate wrote: “Thank you God for this gift. Thank you @malikkingscott for changing my life. For bringing love, happiness, fulfillment, peace and joy, all in abundance. It is my greatest blessing to be your wife.
“I want to love, sing, dance and laugh with you forever. A lifelong journey with you is everything I pray for.
“It’s you and our family always. ❤️”

Malik Scott on ‘the most perfect day’
Malik meanwhile was equally ecstatic at the nuptials – captured in beautiful images again shared on Instagram.
He wrote: “Proverbs 31:10-12…Thank you God.🙏🏾 My Vows will be lived out until the end of my time.🙏🏾 @kateabdo Happy birthday baby.❤️The most perfect day of my life was our wedding day.☺️ Words cant describe how much I love you.❤️ Multiple days down and forever to go.❤️ #themostperfectdayofmylife“
