Joshua vs Dubois: British boxing Fans GO WILD for world heavyweight title blockbuster at Wembley

British boxing fans are going wild for that Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois world heavyweight title blockbuster at Wembley Stadium next month.

Joshua and Dubois are set to lock horns at the famous old stadium on September 21, with Dubois’ IBF belt on the line.

For AJ (28-3) it is an opportunity to become a three-time world heavyweight champion, emulating the likes of the late, great Muhammad Ali. Dubois (21-2) meanwhile makes the first defence of the belt vacated by Oleksandr Usyk following that epic unification win over Tyson Fury in May.

It’s a massive fight with much on the line for both men, and it is drawing huge interest from British fight fans. The last time two domestic fighters fought for the sport’s biggest prize at Wembley, more than 94,000 rocked up in 2022 to see Fury knock out Dillian Whyte.

Joshua vs Dubois tickets

Well now it looks like Joshua vs Dubois will be a repeat of those scenes, with Turki Alalshikh confirming that ALL general admission tickets for the bout have now been sold.

It’s big news for Alalshikh, Chairman of the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority. The GEA has been bankrolling a huge era for the sport, making ‘impossible’ fights possible. In May remember we had the sport crown its first undisputed heavyweight king in 25 years as Usyk pipped Fury in a classic.

The September 21 show at Wembley is the first time Alalshikh has brought at Riyadh Season card to the UK, and it is shaping up to be a commercial and PR success. Recently it put on a show in Los Angeles, topped by welterweight king Terence Crawford making his debut up at 154lbs.

While general admission tickets for Joshua vs Dubois are now all gone, organisers say a limited number of Platinum and Hospitality tickets remain available.

How to watch on TV

There is also good news for TV viewers hoping to watch the fight in the UK – there are THREE outlets confirmed as having rights to the PPV. Again this is all down to Alalshikh looking to distribute Riyadh Season shows as widely as possible.

DAZN PPV, Sky Sports Box Office and TNT Sports Box Office will all screen and stream the big event.
